WEEK 6: Food Ease Week! ($725) July 29-August 2

   8 :30 AM- Arrive with parents for sign-in. Drop Off! 

9 AM- Head over to the Sparta area of New Jersey. 

10 AM- Park opens and we will start our day. 

11 AM- There are various water slides, tubes, and water activities on the lake. 

12:30- 1 PM- Concession stand lunch is available. There is also a beach with swimming.

 2- 4 PM- Volleyball, Trading Post, and Ping Pong. Mini-Golf. Horse shoes. More swimming and slides!

5:30 PM- Arrive in Montclair.
 

9 PM- Head to NYC 

10:30 AM- Arrive at Times Square area and walk to Burger Joint near Central Park. 

11:30 AM- Visit this establishment and lobby of an established hotel. Pick up burgers. Eat at nearby tables or outdoor area. 

12:00- 12:30 AM- Campers will finish up or bring burgers to nearby Eating Area. 

1 PM- Loab's  Boat House. Campers will rent out two-person boats. FREE.  

 3:30 PM- Start to head home. 

9 AM- Head out to Tuckerton Seaport. This is a unique, historic port which is an outdoor museum and working community today. It was dedicated by the widow of Jacques Cousteau.  

11:00 AM- Split into three groups:

a. Take a cruise through the wetlands and Creek Tour. 

b. Tucker's Island Lighthouse and ten historic buildings. 

c. Stewarts Historic Diner- Famous root beer and hamburgers! Free meal. 

***We will rotate the groups so everyone will get a chance to see everything. 

11- 12: 15 PM- First activity.  12:30- 1:45 PM- Second. 2- 3:15 PM- Third. 

3:15 PM- Start to head back to Montclair. 

5:30 PM- Arrive. 

9:00 AM: Bus heads to Schooley's Mountain Hike.  

10:00 AM: We will start at Lake George. It is a 2.3 mile hike with water falls and a rock outcrop. 

1PM: Eat a packed lunch or go to Long Valley for an option of two pizzerias or BBQ. 

2- 3:00 PM- Long Valley Shepherd Creamery. There will be a tour of the farm's cheese-making facility and cheese storage areas. 

4PM- Head home. 

9 AM- Head out to Cheesequake State Park. 10:00 AM- Short hike and then head to Hook's Creek Lake lake.
11- 1:30 PM- Swim at the lake. You may want to bring a packed sandwich.

1: 30 PM- 2 PM- Destination Dogs. Everyone gets a plain hotdog with 4 possible toppings for free. Vegetarian options available. No one may buy extra. There is food in nearby surroundings.

3:30 PM- Head home. We may stop at one of the many ice cream parlors nearby. 5- 5:30 PM- Arrive home.  

  **Rain may cancel destination- we will still go somewhere fun. Any destination could change! There may be more Possible Stops or none depending on time- Safety is always top concern! Check Facebook for actual arrival time- traffic can change all plans. We are extremely spontaneous- call child or camp with questions.
